Shipping & Delivery Policy

Understanding digital service delivery timelines and physical agricultural commodity logistics across AgriBazaar (agribazaar.com.pk).

Effective Date: October 2026Instant Digital Delivery + Nationwide Mandi Freight

1. Overview & Scope

Because AgriBazaar bridges high-frequency digital market intelligence with real-world agricultural commerce in Pakistan, this policy explains two distinct fulfillment mechanisms:

A. Digital Services Delivery

Subscription activation, live mandi rates feeds, analytics charts, and automated WhatsApp rate broadcasts.

B. Physical Commodity Logistics

B2B grain, feed, fertilizer, and agricultural input transportation coordinated directly between buyers and listed merchants.

2. Digital Service Delivery

All digital services, subscriptions, and analytical tools purchased through AgriBazaar are delivered electronically with no physical shipping fees:

  • Instant Platform Activation: Upon successful verification of card or mobile wallet payment, premium account access is activated automatically within seconds.
  • Manual Bank Transfers (IBFT): If paying via direct bank deposit or manual transfer slip, activation occurs upon receipt verification (usually within 15–30 minutes during desk hours).
  • WhatsApp Alert Feeds: Authorized phone numbers are enrolled into automated rate channels upon account confirmation.

3. Physical Mandi Freight & Bilty Transport Guidelines

When traders, mills, or farmers transact physical agricultural commodities (such as wheat bags, paddy rice, maize/corn, cotton bales, or fertilizers) discovered through our verified directory, delivery is typically arranged through standard Pakistani freight channels:

Goods Transport Addas (Bilty System)

Consignments are booked at commercial goods transport centers across Lahore, Multan, Faisalabad, Karachi, Peshawar, and regional mandi yards. The transporter issues a standard Goods Consignment Note (Bilty).

Freight Payment Terms (Pohnch vs Ex-Mandi)

Contracts specify whether price is "Pohnch" (freight paid by seller to destination mill-gate) or "Ex-Mandi / Mill Gate" (freight paid by buyer upon vehicle arrival).

4. Weighbridge (Kanda) & Quality Inspection

Standard commercial practice in Pakistani grain trading requires gross and tare weighing at authorized computer weighbridges (Kanda). Key requirements:

  • • Gross Weight Slip: Recorded when the loaded truck enters the destination premises.
  • • Tare Weight Slip: Recorded after grain or bag unloading to determine net commodity weight.
  • • Moisture & Quality Deduction (Kat/Chhanai): Moisture testing and foreign matter samples should be verified immediately before discharging bulk cargo.

5. Bagging, Labor & Loading Terms

Unless mutually agreed in writing, standard mandi terms govern loading labor:

  • • Loading (Pala/Barai): Typically arranged by the selling arhtiya or merchant at the dispatch mandi.
  • • Bag Standard: Standard PP woven bags (50 kg, 40 kg, or 100 kg Maund) must be securely stitched to prevent spillage during road transit.
  • • Unloading (Otary): Arranged by the receiving mill or storage godown.

6. Inter-Provincial Crop Movement & Permits

Transporters and traders moving wheat, sugar, or restricted agricultural goods across provincial borders (e.g. Punjab to KPK or Sindh to Balochistan) must ensure compliance with government notifications, provincial Food Department permits, and transit excise receipts.

7. Transit Risks & Damage Claims

Weather protection (waterproof tarpaulins/tirpal for monsoon rains), transit insurance, and road transit risks rest between the consignor, consignee, and appointed transport contractor. In the event of bag tearing or moisture damage in transit, note exceptions on the transporter bilty before releasing delivery.

8. AgriBazaar Platform Role & Limitations

AgriBazaar provides market price discovery, stall contact directories, and digital intelligence tools. AgriBazaar is NOT a commercial freight carrier, transport booking adda, or guarantor of physical vehicle movement. All physical transit disputes are resolved according to bilateral purchase contracts and transport laws.
